Coming out of the very popular blog Mark's Daily Apple and written by a former athlete this book has a more realistic approach to the paleo diet than Cordain's book. Mark recommends plenty of fat in the diet and he is not averse to dairy products either. He is more interested in a diet our genes expect than in the the type of foods our ancestors actually ate. This book is a really good start to the paleo lifestyle.
